DON'T WASTE THE GRACE

1 Corinthians 15:10 By God’s grace I am what I am, and the grace that He gave me was not without effect. On the contrary, I have worked harder than any of the other apostles, although it was not really my own doing, but God’s grace working with me. GNT

When because of God’s grace to him, Jesus knocked Paul off of his horse and saved him on the Road to Damascus, Paul understood that it was only the beginning. He had been saved by grace not only for that initial encounter, but that he could live and serve Christ.

The grace that Paul received at salvation wasn’t meant to leave him there. It was meant to propel Paul into his Kingdom purpose. Paul refused to Waste the Grace that he had received. That’s why he says, “The grace that He gave me was not without effect”.

What kind of effect has grace had on your life? Is the testimony of the legitimacy of God’s grace in your life evident to those around you? God may have apprehended you and radically saved you, but has it made a change in how you live today?

You see…. the greatest testimony to others of God’s grace in your life will not be your fiery sermonizing or creative evangelizing! It will be the real-life effect that grace has had on your life; it is the growth and change that grace has caused in you. God has a reasonable expectation that grace be revealed in you as you continue to grow in Him.

Philippians 3:12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.
