GOD SPEAKS THROUGH HIS WORD

Psalm 119:24 Your statues are my delight; they are my counselors. NIV

The Bible doesn’t CONTAIN the Word of God, it IS the WORD OF GOD. Everything in it has come to pass, or is about to. You can trust it in every detail of your life!

As you consider your plans for the New Year, remember that the first place God will speak direction to you will be from His written Word.

When the Devil tempted Jesus suggesting an alternate direction for Jesus life, Jesus responded three times by saying:

Matthew 3:4 “It is written….”

Matthew 3:7 “It is written…”

Matthew 10 “It is written…”

God has already given specific guidance and direction for marriage and family, finances, life disciplines, personal character and more in the Bible.

So, if you want to hear God, start by listening to, learning and obeying God’s written Word – The Bible.

2 Timothy 3:16 Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. TM
