BINDING AND LOOSING
Matthew 16: 19 ….whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Jesus has given us incredible authority to prohibit the Devil’s access and to release His Holy Spirit to move through the actions of binding and loosing.
This is what it means:
TO BIND: to prohibit, forbid
TO LOOSE: to permit, allow, release, authorize
He is telling us: “Whatever you prohibit and forbid will be prohibited in heaven and whatever you permit or release with be permitted and released in heaven.” Christ has invested such great authority to church that all of heaven will get behind what we prohibit and release. If we don’t bind and loose, then things can go on as usual. Though Jesus already holds the deed to your future, the Devil must be forcefully evicted. Binding and loosing is something that activates your authority to interrupt the enemy’s work . It authorizes the Holy Sprit to move into areas of warfare.
He is just awaiting your release!
